An auto-rickshaw driver died after falling into an open sewer in Gurugram's Sector 49 due to heavy rainfall on the night of July 9. His body was found after his wife's nearly 200 calls to him went unanswered. Police said the driver had stepped out of his vehicle, reportedly to relieve himself, and accidentally fell into the submerged sewer.
