The Karnataka government has decided to let app-based autorickshaw aggregators charge 5% above the base fare fixed by the state for auto rides booked on their apps. The final decision will be, however, taken by High Court on Monday. Earlier, the auto aggregators were allowed to charge 10% above the base fare plus GST, but they were allegedly charging extra.
