American movie Avatar became the highest grossing film worldwide on January 31, 2010. The movie, directed by James Cameron and released in December 2009, grossed over $2 billion. The film explores Pandora, a habitable moon of a gas giant, and how humans try to colonise it through Avatars, a genetically engineered body with the mind of a remotely located human.
