AVG Logistics Ltd has secured a 6-year contract with Indian Railways worth ₹198 crore for a Parcel Cargo Express Train (PCET) connecting Agartala/Guwahati to Delhi/Ludhiana. This dedicated freight service will operate four monthly round trips, totalling 313 trips. Initially, it will carry 364 tonnes, increasing to 484 tonnes after six months.
