AWS runs out of 2026 capacity amid AI-driven demand surge

Amazon Web Services (AWS) has exhausted its available capacity for 2026, with most major allocations for 2027 booked and a significant portion of 2028 commitments already taken. CEO Andy Jassy said the company is struggling to meet surging demand for computing infrastructure, driven largely by the rapid growth of artificial intelligence development and adoption.
