In the third quarter of fiscal 2024, private sector lender Axis Bank Ltd. witnessed a 3.7% year-over-year increase in net profit; however, this increase was offset by higher operational expenses. Compared to Rs 5,853 crore a year earlier, the net profit for the quarter was Rs 6,071 crore.
