The airport in Ayodhya, set to be inaugurated on Saturday, will now bear the name 'Maharishi Valmiki International Airport Ayodhya Dham.' Formerly known as the 'Maryada Purshottam Shri Ram Ayodhya International Airport,' the renaming pays homage to the legendary poet Valmiki, renowned as the author of the epic Ramayana.
