Ayush doctor Nusrat Parveen, whose niqab was pulled by Bihar CM Nitish Kumar during an appointment letter distribution programme on December 15, joined the service on Wednesday, 23 days after the incident. She has joined the service in Patna Sadar. The government earlier invited Parveen to join the service on December 20 and December 31, but she had refused.
