Ayushmann Khurrana and Vicky Kaushal won the National Award for Best Actor for 'AndhaDhun' and 'Uri: The Surgical Strike' respectively. While Ayushmann played the role of a pianist pretending to be visually-impaired in 'AndhaDhun', Vicky portrayed an Army Officer in 'Uri: The Surgical Strike'. The award for Best Actress went to Keerthy Suresh for Telugu film 'Mahanati'.
