According to reports, actor Ayushmann Khurrana's contract with the producers of 'Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui' included a strict theatrical release. Pinkvilla said quoting a source, "He [Ayushmann] along with his team has devised a plan to clearly bifurcate between OTT and theatrical content before coming onboard a film." Notably, Ayushmann's 'Gulabo Sitabo' was his first film to release on OTT.
