Azam Khan banned from campaigning for 2 days over communal remarks

Samajwadi Party's candidate from Uttar Pradesh's Rampur, Azam Khan was on Tuesday banned by Election Commission from campaigning for two days for violating the Model Code of Conduct. Khan has been banned for "making communal remarks" and "threatening" poll authorities. Earlier this month, he was banned from campaigning for three days over "khaki underwear" remark against BJP candidate Jaya Prada.
