A Bangladesh court has granted bail to Hindu monk Chinmoy Krishna Das in one case, though he remains in custody in six others, including a lawyer’s murder case. He was granted bail in a case in which he was accused of land grabbing, intimidation and assault. Six people, including Chinmoy Krishna Das, were accused in the case filed in 2023.
