Bengaluru and Delhi have emerged as among the world's cheapest cities to buy apartments in city centres in 2026, according to a Deutsche Bank report. Average price of a city-centre apartment in Delhi is around ₹2.37 lakh per square metre, while in Bengaluru it's ₹1.74 lakh per square metre. Both cities also offer the cheapest monthly rents in the world.
