Bengaluru's Kempegowda Airport has launched a new AI-based Smart Airside Safety System to improve aircraft and vehicle safety in high-risk airport zones. The technology uses computer vision, smart traffic signals and real-time monitoring to reduce human error and improve airport operations, even during fog or low visibility. Bengaluru airport recorded over 4.18 crore passengers in 2024-25.
