B'luru doctors perform complex Bentall surgery on 53-yr-old woman

Doctors at a private hospital in Bengaluru's Nagarbhavi performed a four-hour surgery on a 53-year-old woman with an enlarged aorta, a leaking heart valve and an atrial septal defect. Using the Bentall procedure, surgeons replaced the affected aorta and valve while also repairing the heart defect. The patient recovered well and was discharged after seven days.
