Karnataka DyCM DK Shivakumar said tenders for Bengaluru Metro Phase 3 will be called in January. The project aims to expand the metro network to 175 km within two years, including a 50-km double-decker corridor. New lines, extensions and improved connectivity are expected to ease traffic congestion across the city.
