A 37-year-old techie named Vipin Gupta, who moved to Bengaluru from Lucknow, has been missing since August 4, his wife Sreeparna Dutta said in a police complaint. Sreeparna, seeking the public's help to find her husband, wrote on X, "I've started getting messages asking money else they will kill my husband." His bike was found in a hospital's parking lot.
