Meghna Khanna, a 46 year old Bengaluru-based woman entrepreneur founded The Bindi Project in December 2022 to sell handmade, reusable statement bindis. Her designs have been worn by various celebrities. The label sells via pop-ups, Instagram and WhatsApp and has recorded about ₹20 lakh in sales, with pop-ups forming the largest revenue channel.
