A woman suffered a failed delivery at a public health centre in Tamil Nadu's Koovathur, wherein the baby got decapitated and its torso remained inside her. Her relatives alleged medical negligence saying the delivery was done by nurses in the absence of a doctor. She was later rushed to a hospital where doctors removed the torso and saved her life.
