Devastated by floods that ruined the paddy crop last year, farmers in Punjab are now staring at fresh uncertainty as two back-to-back Western Disturbances are forecast to affect North India this week, dampening hopes of a bumper wheat harvest. Wheat crop is cultivated on over 34-lakh hectares of land across the state.
