Minister of State for IT Rajeev Chandrasekhar said "it is a bad idea to bet against India under PM (Narendra) Modi" after Foxconn pulled out of a $19.5 billion chipmaking joint venture with Vedanta. His statement came in response to those calling Foxconn and Vedanta's decision a "blow" to India's semiconductor ambitions. "India is just getting started," Chandrasekhar further said.
