NYU neuroscientist Nikolay Kukushkin said on the podcast that bad memories fade much faster than good ones. "That's what keeps me sane when I'm travelling," he said, explaining that stressful moments eventually fade and only the good remains. The trick is to filter what you want to remember and in what frame, he added.
