India's home ministry, SBI Card, & telecom operators are developing a solution to alert customers about stolen one-time passwords. The solution will track customer's registered address and geolocation, ensuring an OTP is delivered to correct area. The Reserve Bank of India is pushing for additional authentication for digital payments to combat fraud. The solution is being tested with telcos.
