Badrinath Temple to tighten security by mandating pocketless clothes & frisking

An internal panel of Badrinath Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC) recommended pocketless clothes, frisking of staff and increased CCTV cameras in donation counting rooms for upgrading security in the premises. This comes as Uttarakhand Police arrested Pramod Nautiyal for alleged irregularities in handling of donations. The panel said workers involved in counting donations wear pocketless clothes.
