Badminton Association of India (BAI) President and Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced a combined reward of ₹50 lakh for shuttlers who won medals at the Paris Paralympics. While the gold medallist will get ₹15 lakh, silver and bronze medallists will receive ₹10 lakh and ₹7.5 lakh, respectively. India won one gold, two silver, and two bronze in badminton.
