US-based private investment company Bain Capital on Tuesday sold 0.54% stake in Axis Bank. According to BSE data, 16.7 million shares were sold at ₹891.38 each, higher than the floor price of ₹888 set by the firm, taking the transaction size to ₹1,486.82 crore. As of September 2022, three Bain Capital affiliates held 4.24% stake in the lender.
