Uncertainty over delayed counting in Banah Dhini Panchayat, Pachhad (Sirmaur), ended after a ballot bag mix-up. A Zila Parishad ballot box was wrongly sent to the Panchayat Pradhan and ward member counting centre due to a presiding officer’s error during sealing and transport. The State Election Commission directed correction and completion of counting with political representatives present.
