The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal during a press briefing reacted to the ban imposed on ex-Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina's party Awami League, calling it a matter of concern. "We strongly support the early holding of free, fair and inclusive elections in Bangladesh," Jaiswal said. Hasina fled to India last year after a mass uprising in Bangladesh.
