UN chief Antonio Guterres has expressed concern over the Taliban's move to keep high schools closed to girls, stating that such a ban will damage the entire country. Guterres added that the decision is an unjustifiable violation of equal rights. Taliban issued a decree last month banning girls studying in grade six and above from attending school until further orders.
