Banaras Locomotive Works (BLW) successfully dispatched the tenth unit of its indigenously manufactured 3300 horsepower AC-AC diesel-electric locomotive to Mozambique on February 21. This is a notable achievement for BLW in international locomotive manufacturing, reinforcing India’s presence on global stage. This marks completion of a contract for a total of ten locomotives ordered by Mozambique.
