National Credit Guarantee Trustee Company is conducting a forensic audit of loans worth ₹23,300 crore given by Bandhan Bank under two government credit guarantee schemes, reports said. The audit will reportedly check whether the bank evergreened the loans or created fictitious accounts to get the maximum guarantee cover. Shares of Bandhan Bank dipped over 7% on Monday.
