Bangladesh halves power buying from Adani, says 'We were angry when they cut supply'

Bangladesh halved the power it buys from Adani Power citing lower winter demand, government officials told Reuters. "We were...angry when they cut our supply...We've told them there's no need to run plant's both units," Bangladesh Power Development Board chief MR Karim said. Adani had halved Bangladesh's power supply in October over delays in payment of dues worth millions of dollars.
