Bangladesh's measles outbreak has claimed four more child deaths, taking confirmed and suspected fatalities this year to 1,114. Health authorities also reported 1,221 new suspected cases and 21 confirmed infections in 24 hours. Experts have linked the surge to vaccination gaps, delayed detection and shortcomings in patient isolation and outbreak management.
