Shiv Shankar Mitra, the manager of a Bank of Baroda branch in Maharashtra's Pune, died by suicide inside the branch premises on Thursday. Police said Mitra, who had resigned from his position on July 11 citing health issues and workload, blamed "bank work pressure". Mitra had asked all staff to leave, saying he'd close the branch, police added.
