Jan Suraaj Party founder Prashant Kishor, who won the Bankipur Assembly bypoll by over 19,000 votes, said, "My becoming an MLA won't turn Bankipur into Bengaluru." After defeating BJP's Neeraj Kumar, he said residents would start seeing improvements in the constituency over the next two to three months, adding, "I don't want to make grand boasts."
