Banks recover another ₹792 crore by selling shares of Vijay Mallya: ED

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Friday said that the SBI-led consortium of Indian banks has further realised ₹792.11 crore by sale of shares in the Vijay Mallya case. With this, ₹13,109 crore worth of assets of fugitive businessmen Mallya, Nirav Modi and Mehul Choksi have been confiscated/handed over to the banks or Central government, the ED added in a statement.
