Indian banks trying to recover money from Vijay Mallya have moved a London court seeking documents that would reveal "true ownership" of assets including 2 superyachts and 27 cars. Mallya said the items are held by trusts that he doesn't control. The banks said there are many "valuable assets" held through "complex ownership structure comprising offshore companies and discretionary trusts".
