Trump discusses ending Ukraine war with Putin, to begin negotiations

Pakistan record their highest successful chase in ODI cricket history

Pakistan chased down a 353-run target in a tri-series ODI against South Africa in Karachi to register their highest successful chase in ODI history. Pakistan captain Muhammad Rizwan and vice-captain Salman Agha slammed hundreds in the match. Pakistan's previous highest successful ODI run chase had come on March 31, 2022, when they chased down a 349-run target against Australia.

The New Income Tax Bill will do away with the 'assessment year' and likely introduce the concept of 'tax year', reports said. The concept is being introduced as several taxpayers confuse the 'assessment year' and 'financial year' (previous year) when filing taxes. The tax year, like the financial year, will be the 12-month period from April 1 to March 31.
