The West Bengal Medical Council (WBMC) has sought a report from Sharanya Multispeciality Hospital in Purba Bardhaman, West Bengal, in a case related to alleged medical negligence that resulted in vision loss in two babies. According to the families of the two babies, the hospital failed to conduct critical ROP screenings, leaving infants Mivaan and Adrita with lifelong impairment.
