An independent investigation revealed that BBC journalist, Martin Bashir, used "deceitful behaviour" to secure an interview with Princess Diana in 1995, in which she disclosed intimate details of her failed marriage to Prince Charles. Her sons, Prince William and Prince Harry, condemned the BBC interview. Harry said the "culture of exploitation and unethical practices" led to his mother's death.
