BBMP has implemented the long-pending rent revision for shops at Bengaluru's KR Market after 12 years. Following a High Court ruling, tenants must now pay revised rents along with applicable interest from 2014. The move is expected to boost civic revenue and help recover years of pending dues from shopkeepers across the market complex.
