The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) is embarking on an ambitious project to reduce traffic congestion in Bengaluru by constructing an 18-km-long underground tunnel road. The project, estimated to cost around ₹8,100 crore (approximately ₹450 crore per kilometre), is slated for completion by January 1, 2025.
