BBMP's East Zone has completed an AI-powered survey of nearly 1,600 km of roads in Bengaluru using specialised cameras and the YOLO model. The technology identifies potholes, measures road damage, and estimates the materials and costs required for repairs. Officials said the data will help improve road maintenance planning and optimise the use of civic resources.
