This came days after he was sacked after players in Bangladesh boycotted matches demanding Najmul's resignation over his controversial remarks, including calling Tamim Iqbal "Indian agent". BCB disciplinary committee later found Najmul's reply to show-cause notice over his remarks to be satisfactory.
