BCCI congratulates Ravindra Jadeja for breaking world record, turns out he didn't

The BCCI on Thursday congratulated Ravindra Jadeja for setting world record for becoming longest reigning number one Test all-rounder (1,152 days). However, the world record is held by Garfield Sobers, who was ranked number one Test all-rounder from February 20, 1962 and March 10, 1974 (4,402 days). Among the post-1987 cricketers, the record is held by Jacques Kallis (1,827 days).
