BCCI invites applications for CoE Head of Sports Science 546 days after Nitin Patel's exit

The BCCI on Friday invited applications for the Head of Sports Science and Medicine position at Bengaluru's Centre of Excellence (CoE). The move came amid growing criticism over the rising injuries in Indian cricket and the subsequent lengthy rehabilitation periods. The CoE has been without a sports and medicine head since Nitin Patel stepped down in March 2025.
