Gross GST revenue collection from Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) during FY23 and FY24 stood at ₹2038.55 crore, Minister of State for Finance Pankaj Chaudhary told the Parliament. "Services by way of admission to sporting events like IPL attract 28% GST," he said. He added that BCCI was denied exemption under Section 11 of Income Tax Act.
