The BCCI has released invitation for Expression of Interest for Team India's lead sponsor rights. It listed prohibited brand categories including alcohol, betting & gambling services, cryptocurrency, online money gaming banned under Online Gaming Act 2025, tobacco and content offensive to public morals, such as pornography. Notably, Dream11 pulled out as lead sponsor after ban on real-money games.
