The beating retreat ceremony took place at the Attari-Wagah Border in Punjab's Amritsar on the eve of India's 76th Independence Day on Sunday. A huge crowd had gathered at the Attari-Wagah border for the ceremony. People sang songs of patriotism, danced and hoisted the Indian national flag.
