Some satellite pictures have shown how the devastating drought in Europe has affected its green areas. The images shared by the Copernicus Programme of the European Union, captured by its Sentinel satellite, have shown that large parts turned brown between July 1 and August 31. Experts believe the ongoing drought is the continent's worst drought in 500 years.
